Description: Exceptional piece of Indian art with ornate detail and design, depicting a Bhuta Goddess riding a pachyderm. The center figure is surrounded by smaller figures in adoration. The top dome is adorned with two acrobatic figures (one of three is missing). The elephant is stunning with great detail and caring a man in in trunk. The upper altar piece is hinged to the elephant’s back. It is all one piece and does not open or come off. Any imperfections are original to the casting process.
