Description: Lovely Vintage Chaps by Ralph Lauren Sports Coat circa 1976-1978 pre-owned with no stains, tears, holes or smells. Excellent, quality construction, with still tight seams. Based on garment labels, this piece is possibly pre-production or one of the very first off the line. Fabric is believed to be Ultra Suede, which is a highly durable synthetic suede fabric, introduced about the time of production of this coat. Front and sleeve buttons are leather look hard plastic. There is red marking on the inside "Chaps" label, and the lining has a slight blue tinge that may not be a flaw, rather the nature of the fabric. There is no label indicating the size of the jacket, so please measure carefully and compare before purchase.
