Description: You are looking at a Japanese Cortez Stratocaster electric guitar in sunburst, made by the Matsumoku factory in the 1970's. Most likely manufactured before 1978 as it has the lawsuit headstock shape. Serial number is shown on back of headstock. See pictures. Condition is very good. Neck is super straight and clean with original tuning heads and trees. MADE IN JAPAN is on the neck plate. No pocket cracks visible. All finish appears original. There is one chip about the size of a dime near the bottom (by the input jack) and a small surface rash spot. Otherwise pretty clean (see pics). 2 ply pickguard, single ply back plate, 3 single pick-ups, 3 way switch. Comes with the ashtray tremolo cover, tremolo arm and the G&L case shown in the pictures. Everything functions as it should with no known issues. Feel free to ask any questions and submit reasonable offers. Guitar is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for inspection and/or local pick-up. Shipping is available as well at buyers expense. See details in the listing. Thank you for looking! Jim
