By the National Maritime Historical Historical Society, this magnificent piece features original artwork by celebrated maritime artist, Robert Taylor Also on display is an intricately detailed handle and wooden frame. Highlighted in 24 kt gold plating of a mermaid with long flowing hair Attached is a chain with a functional compass, a ship's wheel with Bob chain. Hangs 4" off of the handle. Knife Blade is signed Cutty Sark, 1870 - 1922. Stainless Steel. Blade has a protective coating to prevent stains. Handle has inlaid porcelain picture of the most famous clipper ship of all time The Majestic Cutty Sark This precision collectible knife is assembled by hand to the highest quality standards. Dimensions: Length - 8" (open) Length - 4.7" (closed) Limited Edition - no longer being made. Had a limited production time of only 45 casting days and was closed forever after that.
