Description: Beautiful Vintage.original painting by Albuquerque New Mexico Artist Onetia May Kelly whom lived & worked 50 yrs in NM born 1909 - 1999 Onetia was known for landscapes ,but not exclusively... I believe this was painted at Taos Pueblo ,New Mexico in the 1970's , The painting depicts Taos mountain with the Pueblo at its base a woman baking bread in a fired horno with smoke coming off the top & on the lower right a woman is sitting by another horno & stringing red chile riestras , two young children on stairway of the adobbe buildings .harder to see . See all photos and condition description . A good rendering of Taos mountains & Pueblo at its base.. Hand carved wooden frame 35.5" X 29.5" inches. The painting canvas measures 27.5" X 21.5" inches .
