Description: A vintage Miami Beach postcard that is 5.5" x 3.5". This post card features a colorful sunrise and palm trees on beautiful Miami Beach. In the upper left hand corner "D.C. 40 - SUNRISE ON THE FLORIDA COAST" is printed. On the upper right hand corner "AT MIAMI BEACH" is printed in the lower right hand corner "3A-H674" is printed. On the backside of the post card "DADE COUNTY NEWSDEALERS SUPPLY CO., MIAMI, FLA" and "GENUINE CURTEICH-CHICAGO" "C.T. ART COLORTONE" "POST CARD (REG. U.S. PAT.OFF.)" is printed. This post card would have needed a one cent postage stamp back in the 1940's. My Dad got this postcard to bring home while he was being "decommissioned" by the U.S. Army after serving over 3 years in World War 2 as an anti-aircraft gunner in Papua, New Guinea. The upper and lower right side edges of the card are slightly bent, but all the card is still there. Truly in excellent condition considering it's almost 80 years old.
