Description: From a local estate, this listing offers a wonderful collector's souvenir spoon. It shows the iconic World Trade Center Twin Towers in New York City. It is in its original box and in mint condition (unused). The research I did on this spoon says it dates to the 1970s, that it was made in the USA, and no one seems to know who made the spoon. The backer in the box is marked "City Merchandise - Souvenir Spoon." No other markings appear on the box. I believe it is made of silverplate, but it is not marked. The base under the Twin Towers on the spoon handle is marked "WORLD" on one side, "TRADE" on the front, and "CENTER" on the other side. The bowl of the spoon is marked "NEW YORK" in script.
