Description: Vintage TEAC RC-401 Reel to Reel Tape Recorder Remote Control Unit / Audio Sound Cord / Wire is sticky due to tape or coating degradation. I have tried cleaning the wire but continues to sticky after cleaning. Remote is untested, but came from a large collection of reel to reel machines in which almost every machine was in good working order. Selling this remote as “For Parts or Repair “ because it is untested and I am not sure how to test the remote. Remote looks to be in good working order, and the previous owner said everything in the collection was working as expected. Please see pictures for accurate condition of the remote.
