It was in working condition and has been stored for over 40 years, maybe longer. It has always been in a non smoking climate controlled environment. Everything has been well cared for and is in nice original condition. It is untested and will need the necessary and typical restoration/repair/lubrication and calibration that all top quality turntables/tonearms require. It is sold as is, not tested, not working, as described. The walnut(solid) mounting board measures 16.5x28"s and is about 1" thick. It has the early Swiss incomparable design, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and potential performance that only top line analogue turntables can produce.
