Description: This vintage 1965 Mattel Barbie Skipper & Skooter carrying case is a must-have for any Barbie collector. The pink snap box unit features a buckle fastening and a matte finish. It includes a vintage 1963 Skooter doll and 10 outfits as well as several other vintage extras. The case is in excellent condition. There is a faint line by Skooter's eye and tape on the accessories box. Otherwise only mild play wear. The doll has little evident wear - with a bright colorful face. She is stamped Mattell 1963. All of the outfits are clean without tears or wear as well. Included are the following (my best guess at describing - please see pictures) red bathing suit Brown slacks and yellow top pink knit skirt red flannel pajamas with yellow fringe pink polka dot cotton pajamas white jumper with pink floral skirt long red floral skirt red dress with white lace trim bloomers and purse pink robe/house coat red stripe wrap-around skirt Additional items: 9 barbie curlers, red shoes stamped Japan, 2 baby bottles (not barbie and nipples have dried), and a homemade flannel sleeping bag and pillow. This is a great vintage set. The robe and flannel pajamas have vintage 1963 tags. I am reasonably confident all other outfits are alsogenuine Barbie/Skipper based on searches.
