Description: Here is a 1950's/early 1960's vintage large cluster free form fashion brooch. Unmarked, though attributed to Weiss Jewelry, based on stones used, stone setting/manufacture, and overall quality. A freeform clustering of cat eye and small round sharp faceted stones layer a silver tone metal brooch framing. Overall, the brooch presents a light blue appearance, though a light green is definitely reflected, w/all stones having an aurora borealis surface treatment dating the piece. 2 11/16 inch wide, 2 3/8 inch tall, 1/2 inch deep in areas. One uppermost edge stone has a 1/16 inch surface chip at a prong that is not easily noticed unless pointed out. An impressive example of pre 1970 vintage jewelry. No other wear/damage.
